Lee

Founder & Managing Director

Growing up around bikes and cars, I competed in motorcycle sport from the age of 8. At school I excelled in art and design, and embarked on a career as a graphic designer, before moving into marketing. I then had this crazy idea to throw it all together and create a specialist Automotive Marketing agency.

I’m fascinated by the power of creative marketing and how we are able to help clients completely transform brands. I feel very lucky to be able to continue to do so in a market I’m incredibly passionate about!

My Dream Car
F40

My Automotive Inspiration
I’d probably go 10X world MX champion Stefan Everts, especially after seeing his epic clash with James Stewart in the Motocross of Nations at Matterley Basin. When the going gets tough I remind myself of an inspirational quote Stefan made when a journalist asked how he won so many titles - “You win world championships on your off days” was his reply!

One Interesting Fact About me
I’m related to the landscape artist Richard Parkes Bonington

Then after gaining knowledge across several sectors and a few chosen agencies – even co-running my own. I came back to WDA Automotive in 2017. In that time I became a finalist in the fastest 40 awards in the East Midlands, for being the fastest growing Creative under forty.

I have a true passion for cars and motorsport and I regularly attend events from Hill Climbs at Shelsley Walsh, Drag Racing at Santa Pod, to travelling to see the F1 in Singapore.

Anne

Core Market Manager

My career has focussed on publishing, offline marketing, digital marketing and broadcasting. This breadth of experience allows me to bring a wide range of applicable skills to the WDA team. Having worked for many years in the United States and more recently in the UK, I’ve developed specialty market knowledge that helps to place brands at an advantage. With a proven ability to develop and deliver copy and campaigns that resonate with consumers, my expertise complements that of the rest of the team.

My Dream Car
I’ve always been rather smitten by the appearance of the E-type Jaguar. If its beautiful styling could be combined with perfect reliability and zero emissions, that would be my dream car.

Alex

UX / UI Designer

I’ve always wanted to be involved in the world of marketing but found myself loving design. I’ve worked my way up from being a marketing apprentice to what I would now consider a professional designer. So, I bring a wealth of marketing knowledge from previous experiences and my design skills to WDA. I believe I’m at my best when creating fresh, new graphics and website designs for clients.

My Dream Car
Ford Mustang

My Automotive Inspiration
As a Ford fanatic, my favourite car is currently the Mustang, made a cult classic by Steve McQueen who drove a Highland Green Fastback 390 GT in the film Bullitt. A real petrolhead, Steve was able to combine his two passions, racing and acting, often doing all his own stunts including some amazing driving through the hilly San Francisco streets in the Bullitt car. He also insisted on maxing out the Porsche 917K at 225mph in the film Le Mans!

One Interesting Fact About me
Outside of the marketing world I’m a lover of anything techy – mostly video games and eSports. Vukasin

Content Specialist

In the automotive world, there are two types of writers, the people who don’t care about cars and write without emotions and the genuine car enthusiasts who pour their passion, experience, and knowledge into writing.

With years of experience, thousands of published articles, and a garage full of interesting machinery, Vukasin is that kind of author. Addicted to chrome bumpers, rumbling V8 pushrod engines, and classic sports cars he is always on the lookout for exciting barn finds, innovative tech, interesting automotive stories, twisty scenic routes, and new music to complete that perfect early-morning drive.

My Dream Car
BMW M8

My Automotive Inspiration
Even if you’re not a huge fan of MotoGP, chances are you’ve heard of Valentino Rossi. With 400+ GP starts under his belt and 9 world titles, he’s one of the greatest racers of all time, and has completely dominated his sport. Even into his forties ‘The Doctor’ remains super competitive - often beating riders half his age. As well as being a two-wheel legend, he's also a real entertainer too, putting on great celebrations and wearing an array of bizarrely themed helmets and costumes; and often getting off the bike on the victory lap to put on a little show for the fans. Proof it’s possible to succeed with a smile on your face!

One Interesting Fact About me
I referred to someone as a 'Grey-haired old man' on the grid at the monaco GP. My husband pointed out later that it was Richard Gere.
