WDA were in attendance again at this years Automechanika 2017 show and were impressed by both the quality of exhibitors and the events and activities provided for visitors.

2017 saw a host of positive changes including re-location to bigger halls, new workshop training zones and an enhanced AM seminar programme. The investment seems to have paid off – there was certainly a real buzz in the air, and according to organisers the show was 70% bigger than in 2016, with 800 brands exhibiting across 5 halls over the 3 days.

As well as bringing key industry people together, this years show featured many exciting new technologies including a wheel housed drivetrain system and new wireless tyre pressure management system. Other show highlights included watching the KYB dancing robots and searching for hidden diamonds on a rather dirty Golf R as part of the Great Diamondbrite Heist.

As well as client support WDA used the opportunity to take some key meetings and see how brands were presenting and marketing themselves within the trade. All in all fantastic show and one we’ll definitely be supporting again next year.
