WDA are delighted to announce an exciting new collaboration with one of the World’s leading motorsport teams M-Sport. Whilst agreements prevent details being announced at this point in time, the commission is to deliver a strategic branding project. The outputs are likely to be revealed early next year at the Autosport show.
Founded by former British Rally Champion Malcolm Wilson OBE, WDA’s Managing Director Lee Waterhouse was given a tour of M-Sport’s impressive Dovenby Hall HQ in Cumbria by the firms Business Development Manager Andrew Wheatley.
“As a long time rally fan I was already well aware of Malcolm Wilson’s racing career remembering in particular him campaigning the 6R4 in the mid 80’s; and also the subsequent rally team ownership.” Said Lee. “Having worked in the automotive sector for 20 years next year, I have had the privilege of visiting many Automotive engineering and technology companies, many of which are based around our offices here in the Midlands, including suppliers to F1. However, I had no idea a motorsport facility like this existed where it does. I was blown away by the scale of the operation, and the number of engineering processes carried out in-house. With plans afoot to develop a £20 Million ‘MEC’ facility including test track, and planned 65 bedroom hotel, it looks like Motorsport Valley is set to move North.
“It’s fantastic that WDA continues to be chosen by premium automotive brands within our industry. WDA’s track record in driving business for our clients is a direct result of our specialism and understanding of the marketplace; we hope we can directly apply this expertise for M-Sport and help them deliver this exciting new project.”
